Abra had a successful day with Ashley and they did go bowling. Ashley called ahead to get the lane ready so that Abra could walk right in and begin bowling. She did not want to wear the "cute" shoes though and the bowling alley guy complained so Ashley said that she wouldn't wear them but he was welcome to try and help her put them on -- he didn't -- and Abra got to bowl :-)

Abra has autism and complex communication needs. Her primary mode of communicating is a LightWriter but she will also use her voice to verbalize some basic wants or greetings. Abra is an exceptional individual who is determined to understand the world around her and works hard to make herself understood.
